
Healy and Sciver’s championship performances at CWC22 propelled them to the top of the ODI rankings
After scoring an incredible 170 in the final of the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2022, Alyssa Healy rocketed to the top of the ICC One-Day International Batter Rankings.
The South African opener, Laura Wolvaardt, had her brief reign at the top of the rankings snapped by the Australian’s brilliant hit.
Healy, who is 32 years old, scored 509 runs at a strike rate of 103.66 in her nine World Cup matches, including two hundreds and two half-centuries.
With that score, Healy claimed first place in the event, edging out her countrywoman Rachael Haynes.
Beth Mooney, Meg Lanning, and Haynes join Healy as the other three remaining Australians in the top six of the current MRF ODI Rankings.

As a result, the top 10 players in the most recent Rankings seem quite different from one another now that the list has come to a close.
After scoring an undefeated 148* in England’s losing chase in Sunday’s championship game, Nat Sciver moved up to second place in the batting rankings.
After this outstanding performance, the England star has surpassed Ellyse Perry to become the best all-around player in the world.
The English all-rounder scored 436 runs in New Zealand at an average of 72.66, including a century in the final.

The 29-year-deft old’s medium-pace bowling helped her to four wickets and economical stats during the World Cup.
Sophie Ecclestone of England continues to lead the bowling rankings, with South Africa’s pacer Shabnim Ismail rising to second place following a fantastic competition.
Ismail, who was a major danger throughout the tournament, finished with 14 wickets after facing seven innings. Ecclestone, though, was the tournament’s clear cut best bowler, taking 21 wickets at an average of 15.61 while only allowing 3.83 runs per over.
After posting numbers of 2/27 in the semi-final and 3/46 in the final, experienced swing-bowler Anya Shrubsole is the big-mover in the current bowling Rankings, moving up five places to into the top 10.
